Alyssa's PR consultancy works with leading corporations, global nonprofits and notable disruptors that transform lives through education and online learning. As a seasoned strategic communications professional and media specialist, Alyssa has driven integrated and multi-tiered PR campaigns for clients across numerous industries. She has a proven track record of securing headline news and OpEds that can't be ignored.
Prior to founding AM Mediaworks in 2009, Alyssa was a C-level executive at 5WPR, a full service public relations firm that she helped build into one of the fastest-growing PR agencies in the United States. During that time, she led an Emmy-award winning campaign for Wolfgang’s Vault.
Before agency life, Alyssa was a record label tour publicist supporting artists to break into the mainstream including: Jamiroquai, Fiona Apple, Britney Spears and NSYNC. She also co-founded the Prenatal Yoga Studio in NYC in 2001 and as a certified teacher has led hundreds of yoga classes for expectant moms. She volunteers at Exhale to Inhale, a local nonprofit and enjoys surfing, New York City, and traveling (now through Zoom) to see her global roster of clients.
